Confused by Healthcare Reform?
The sweeping Healthcare Reform legislation will affect everyone. Our goal is to be a resource and guide to our clients as we move toward the changes in 2014. This section was developed to help employers with less than 50 employees understand what is required and available to you in 2014. This site is designed to give small employers quick access to the information they need as well as toll free access, email and chat to our dedicated reform team.
A changing marketplace
There are many changes coming in 2014. The good news for some is that states are developing exchanges with financial assistance for individuals up to 400% of the federal poverty level, and those with health conditions can no longer be denied. These improvements come with a purchasing mandate, limited choices with regard to plan design, and increased premiums. Small group employers will have the opportunity to continue with small group coverage or move to a defined contribution model. Exchange marketplaces will change the way small group employers offer and administer small group programs.
